Production report about works performed for Kaniv HPP

The agreement No.945К/2019 dated December 6, 2019 “Unit No.4. Reconstruction. The electrical part of Kaniv HPP, branch of JSC “Ukrhydroenergo” (the Customer – PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo”) and the agreement No.229К/2020 dated March 27, 2020 “Unit No.4. Reconstruction.  Electrical installation and commissioning works of Kaniv HPP, branch of PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo” (the Customer – PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo”)

The works on the arrangement of fire-prevention cable penetrations in all premises of Unit No.4 were performed in full scope and successfully handed over to the representative of the independent fire safety inspection and the Kaniv HPP Fire Safety Commission, as confirmed by the signed deed.

 The agreement No.747К/2020 dated October 26, 2020. “DK 021:2015 code 45310000-3 Electrical installation works (Unit No.5. Rehabilitation of the unit.  Electrical installation and commissioning works of Kaniv HPP, branch of PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo”) (the Customer – PJSC “Ukrhydroenergo”)

The following works have been currently performed at Unit No.5 in full scope:

1. Architectural and construction works on arrangement of ventilation slots for ventilation of 6,3kV indoor switchgear premise.
2. Installation of fireproof wall of new ventilation room in premise of PWS (process water supply).

Works are ongoing at Unit No.5:

1. Construction works on indoor finishing (walls painting, counter ceiling) of 6,3kV indoor switchgear premise.
2. Dismantling of old ventilation equipment in premises of OPI (oil-pressure installation) and PWS.
3. Architectural and construction works on arrangement of ventilation slots for ventilation premises of OPI and PWS.

The first shipment of electrical equipment was performed in January.

Under the Contract No.15-1406/K dated August 31, 2018 “Rehabilitation of two units (No.4, 5) of Kaniv HPP (8 auxiliary systems of hydropower units for hydropower turbines with station numbers: 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20)” (the Customer – Consortium “RPA “Ukrgidroenergobud”), the following works are ongoing at Unit No.5:

1. The works have been performed in full scope:

– installation of bays of 6,3 kV metal-clad switchgear;

– installation of the excitation system of the hydropower units (HPU) 17-20 (cabinets and transformers);

– arrangement of foundations for 110kV disconnectors;

– arrangement of embedded parts for equipment in premise of 6,3 kV indoor switchgear;

– installation of cabinets’ metal structure of 6,3 kV generator circuit breakers of HPU No.17- HPU No.20;

–  installation of 6,3kV current and voltage transformers of HPU No.17- HPU No.20 in premise of main bus duct leads and 6,3 kV indoor switchgear of unit No.5.

1. Installation works are ongoing:

– installation of 6,3kV disconnectors of HPU No.17- HPU No.20 in premise of 6,3 kV indoor switchgear of unit No.5;

– installation of 6,3kV bus duct of HPU No.17- HPU No.20 in premise of 6,3 kV indoor switchgear;

– installation of aluminium bus arrangement and argon welding works for connection of bus duct to 6.3kV equipment (current transformers, voltage transformers, 6.3kV circuit breakers) of HPU No.17- HPU No.20 in premise of main bus duct leads and 6,3kV indoor switchgear of unit No.5;

– installation of terminal-block cabinets of 6,3kV current and voltage transformers.

1. Works are starting:

– on installation of cable and wire products.
